AK Heli - Travel Insurance
Ok, so I booked a trip with PNH. I am thinking I want to get travel insurance for the trip. Has anyone done this? Recommended companies. Any advice?

I have used Travelex for trips to AK.
The website is a bit cumbersome to go through to find the package that you need.
I think I bought the Travelex Select Advantage with Adventure upgrade. You have to do the upgrade. The basic plan does not cover trips such as heliskiing, mountain climbing, etc. Which reminds me. Many companies do not cover heliskiing. Read the fine print of whatever plan that you purchase. Otherwise you might find yourself without coverage.
The Travelex plan also included medical evac.
PNH recommends Travelguard, so they must cover heliskiing as well, but I would bet that it is a specific plan that you will have to purchase.

check w/ H2O Guides, they recommend a certain ins co.
