Two nights ago my mom told him to make a track for her to follow, the way he had for so many years when they skied together and she was unsure what route to take.

It took a minute for me to digest this. Pretty incredible and basically gave me chills.

Peter Attia did a great episode on prostate health last fall that went deep on prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment. I'd highly recommend giving that a listen.

Dantheman...I owe you a beer or bourbon wine or a combo of all 3. I listened to this podcast and I would recommend it to ANYONE who gets bad news from a prostate biopsy. Between this podcast and the massive amount of info in 3 hrs, I then had a visit with a Dr at the Fred Hutch Cancer center at the U of W ( I might have to get a husky jersey) I will be cancelling my laser treatment and going on active monitoring. PSA test every 6 months, yearly MRI.s In short, the preventative treatments all had worse side effects than my cancer as long as it is watched and stays contained to the prostate.
